Results 2008–2013
After a preliminary campaign in 2008, we chose three larger find spots within our area of research to gain a deeper insight into the history and material culture of the Kibyratis by means of an archaeological survey. All three sites were already known but had never before been examined in detail. From 2009 onwards these sites have been the focus of our research and became the starting point for our intensive and extensive surveying of their hinterland.
